A 19th century(circa 1800s) Russian silver niello cigar box, possibly by Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, with Kokoshnik mark. Having a hinged lid showing a large house, with geometric detailing border and having a vacant cartouche available with no engravings.

Condition
In nice condition all the niello is intact and not worn. Having a minor imperfection mark on left side corner-( tiny line dent )
see images for full condition. The interior is gilt with some very light staining with use over the years. Overall it’s nice Cigar box in good Antique condition.

I’m not 💯 on the maker to my knowledge Ivan Saltkov not making Niello Stuff but of course I could be wrong.
