EARLY RARE FRENCH c1780 ANTIQUE SiLVER SNUFF/COUNTER BOX.
A super rare quality early French silver stuff or counter box. Unmarked but tests as high grade silver.
The Person I obtained it from dated it to c1780. It has been superbly designed being of circular form with zigzag boarders and has been engraved (Gage de L’amitie) which is French for Pledge of friendship.
Condition
It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean and the lid forms a good seal.
Size
It measures 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across by over 1 inch (2.8cms) and weighs 30 grams.
