A wonderful and well detailed scarab with hieroglyphs to the underside, the centre with an elongated orifice for suspension.


This is from a set of ancient Egyptian scarabs confirmed genuine by a curator in the Egyptian studies department at the British Museum.

SOLID PROVENANCE.


Length: 12 mm.

Weight: 1 grams.


Condition: In very good overall condition considering its great age. Fine detail and some ancient incrustation as expected.
