Ancient Egypt, Late period, 664 - 332 BC or earlier. A wonderful and well detailed scarab with hieroglyphs to the underside, the centre with an elongated orifice for suspension.


This is from a set of ancient Egyptian scarabs confirmed genuine by a curator in the Egyptian studies department at the British Museum. SOLID PROVENANCE.
