Viennese Enamelled box.
Oval Austrian enamelled box of the late 19th century, the cover depicts a putti with roses in a cartouche with scroll design surround. The box is divided into five cartouches, the base is a landscape and the four on the sides depict putti with doves, book, musical instrument and art. The interior is enamelled in a scroll pattern, the box is made of gilt copper.

This piece was given as a love token, the putti are depicted with the arts, poetry, painting, doves for cooing and singing and painting.
