Extra Notes This egg is of Russian origin and made in the 1950-70 period, the 925 stamped on these pieces is very modern if this were of the Tsarist period it would have the city mark and the assay master's initial with the date stamped on the silver. No marks on this particular piece i can see. This is a Rare antique, Russian style silver and cloisonne enamel egg, egg shaped opening box in excellent condition with very minor, normal signs of use. With beautiful floral and flower petal inspired, colorful, hand-painted cloisonne enamel work egg, crafted of solid sterling silver. Along with Ultra fine rope-work and millgrain detail work throughout. Egg opens and fastens closed with a double grooved twist L-shape locking mechanism.
