Description
An early 20th century Chinese Export silver three-piece tea service, Hong Kong circa 1930 retailed by Tack Hing and Co.
Comprising a teapot, a milk jug and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of tapering panelled form upon four pad feet with shell form junctions.
The teapot with a curved panelled spout opposite a D section handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to sockets, the hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable oval finial.
Each with flat chased decoration of trailing Chinese dragons to each side, reserved with textured decoration.
Maker and hallmarks
Each marked underneath TACKHING (Mandarin DE XING 德興), 90%SILVER and an artisan mark XIONG 雄 [Cantonese HUNG].
